South Florida Water Management District – Outreach and Public Involvement

The Quantum Leadership Group, Inc. has worked with the South Florida Water Management District to provide workforce and small business development for the Everglades Agricultural Area (EAA) and other Everglades Restoration Projects. The Environmental Restoration Project is the most ambitious ecosystem restoration effort ever undertaken in the United States. This 7.8 billion effort is designed to restore, preserve and protect the world famous South Florida ecosystem. Our goal is to build upon the Workforce Training Program, Small Business Enterprise Outreach and Public Involvement efforts that have been established as a collaborative effort in the Glades to prepare and train a skilled workforce as well as ensure the participation of the local workforce and small business enterprise’s.


MWH America’s Inc. - Workforce Development

Facilitated the development of partnerships with the Atlanta Workforce Development Agency and Clean Water Atlanta general contractors and developed a customized curriculum used to train Atlanta's workforce.

HCL America Inc. - Project Management

Assisted HCL America, Inc. facilitate the development and implementation plan for the Southwest Florida Water Management District's Districtwide Information Technology System.


Florida Department of Environmental Protection - Designed Statewide Marketing Campaign

Designed and implemented a statewide marketing campaign “Let’s Go Outside” for Florida State Parks targeting African American and Hispanic communities encouraging them to visit Florida’s State Parks.


    Florida Keys Aqueduct Authority (FKAA) - Organizational Leadership and Development

    Creating Leaders that will move the FKAA forward by providing Leadership development, organizational culture and development, change management, and performance improvement. Bringing a better understanding on the application and components of Quality Leadership to the Organization. Quantum provided leadership training for the Executive and upper level management team.

    WRS - Torry Island Lock Project

    Quantum will provide public outreach and involvement assistance in developing the Workforce Training Program and Disadvantaged Business Enterprise Outreach in the Belle Glade, Florida area. Through these efforts the Program will not only meet the needs of the Project but will also prepare displaced workers with the skills for continual employment after the Project is complete.

     

    Florida Keys Aqueduct Authority (FKAA) - Leadership Institute

    Coming soon...The Florida Keys Aqueduct Authority Leadership Institute. Quantum was recently selected to provide consulting services to the FKAA to assist with the implementation of their first Leadership Institute. Quantum will work with the Florida Keys Aqueduct Authority in the coming year to develop the framework for the Leadership Institute that will move the FKAA forward and bring a better understanding on the application and components of Quality Leadership.
